Wednesday, February 28th - Fairfield University
Our second trip of the Winterim took us south to Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. Caroline Herdje, a Forman graduate from the class of 2016 met us for lunch when we got to campus. Currently a sophomore, Caroline is studying in Farifield's highly ranked School of Nursing. She was able to talk with our group about the specifics of pursuing a nursing degree as well as what it is like to make the transition from Forman to college.
After lunch, the group attended an information session with the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Students heard about the diverse fields of study that Fairfield offers and the strong connections the school has with potential employers. The day ended with a tour of campus which left students with a sense of the strong school spirit that exists at Fairfield University.
